This is a tough album for us to perform. The vocals are tricky. There’s a nuance and layering and thunder and the guitars are orchestral. Plus, the vibe of the album – the feel; that’s hard to recreate….
What’s cool about this record is that everyone knows all the words, even the ushers at the shows. So, When CAL hits the stage and plays this masterpiece, it is joyous. We love you when we’re playing.”

Classic Albums Live (CAL) is dedicated to recreating classic rock albums live on stage, note for note and cut for cut. Founded by Craig Martin, CAL features top-tier musicians who focus on delivering performances that sound exactly like the original records. The shows avoid costumes and impersonations, focusing solely on the music.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023, CAL has a repertoire of over 45 albums and performs more than 200 shows annually across North America.
Each show includes a faithful rendition of an album in the first half and a dynamic set of the artist’s greatest hits in the second half. CAL’s passion and dedication to authenticity resonate deeply with audiences.
